JOB PURPOSE:
To supervise and manage the electrical maintenance activities in the Wind power plant, including all Electrical balance of Plant and Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) electrical system’s preventive and corrective maintenance, planned outages and overhauling work activities for all electrical equipment in accordance with overall maintenance plans. Stakeholders and Off Taker management, Implement HSE guidelines and ensure safety first, Optimize resources for maximum wind power plant availability and equipment reliability.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor degree holder in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum Experience:
- 5-8 years’ experience in Electrical Maintenance in oil & gas and/or power generation plants where 3 years of experience are in a supervisory role, preferably in Wind Power plants
- Preferably have a background in Electrical Balance of Plants/high voltage service contractors.
- Masters in business or communication is a plus but not mandatory

- Knowledge of downtime analysis and practical knowledge of problem-solving tools
- Good communication skills to manage local external Stakeholders e.g. power purchasers, local authorities etc
- Knowledge of maintenance management methods, of predictive inspection tools and of CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System, good knowledge of SAP Template desirable)
- Manage to work under pressure and tight timelines,
- Mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
- Knowledge of the operations in oil & gas and/or power generation plants preferably wind power plants.
- Strong planning, organizing, and integration skills.
- Effective team leadership and collaborative skills
- Advantageous: experience at a utility-scale powerplant.
- Willing to join GWO trainings and other required certifications
- Climbing up the turbine is included in the job, working at heights is mandatory
- Position is based at site, in Khizi and Gobustan, which may increase in future
- Travel is also required for the business purposes.
